At the DMV Queer Birding Club, our mission is to unite LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in the DC area through our shared passion for birdwatching and nature. We are dedicated to providing a platform for birding enthusiasts to engage in educational events, conservation efforts, and regular meetups. Our group celebrates the joy of birding, encourages environmental stewardship, and aims to enhance our members' knowledge and appreciation of the natural world. By organizing a variety of activities, from guided bird walks to informative workshops, we seek to foster a sense of community and connection among our members, while promoting the importance of wildlife conservation and ecological awareness.
